The things my daughters Sophia and Mia said over the years were sometimes hilarious, sometimes aggravating, sometimes deeply insightful, but always worth remembering. I’ve kept collecting those little gems, and so were friends and family with their kids. We all learned that every child’s saying is worth preserving, as they help us capture a beautiful snapshot in the development of a person, and serve as a memory of childhood days that go past way too quickly.
Sia is a culmination of my kids, the kids from family and friends, and the kids we once were ourselves. Sia is all of us. Every strip in this comic series is based on something a real child said.
